Mr. Jim Austin Jr. started what is now known as Austin Electrical Enclosures in 1964 in Greensboro, NC. In 1970, the plant expanded to include a manufacturing facility in Yadkinville, NC, where the company is now based. Mr. Austin retired in 1993 and his five children took over the company. After many years of hard-work and dedication, the Austin family has built a company that consists of a nation-wide customer base and 26 reps spanning across the US. Since their inception, Austin has grown in size and in their ability to manufacture quality products. While they have gone through many changes, they continue to offer all clients top quality enclosures at competitive prices.

Austin Electrical Enclosures offers a variety of different electrical enclosure products, including Type 1 and 3R Enclosures, Type 12 and 4 Enclosures, Flange Mounted Disconnect Enclosures, Type 4, 12 and 13 Oiltight Enclosures, Pushbutton Enclosures and Consolets, and Wireways and Trough Products. They also sell a variety of accessories, locks and latches, and environmental controls. Furthermore, their products are available in different types of finishes, such as aluminum, galvanized steel, types 304 and 316 stainless steel, and painted. Austin is proud that their products conform to industry standards, including NEMA, UL, and ULC. Finally, Austin offers special finishes and custom sizes and constructions in order to ensure that their customers’ needs will always be met.
