While working for Yusen Associates you must present yourself as a professional with a focus on customer service and results. You will provide exceptional customer service, actively close sales, provide technical support and become an integral component to our team. We have a position available within our Outside Sales team for the start or advancement of your career in the Upstate/Northern New York region.
Outside Sales (Distribution)
- Responsible for creating demand and growing sales for Yusen Linecard at distributor location as well as attending contractor events.
- Coordinating planning meetings, execution of manufacturers initiatives, joint sales with both factory regional employees and distributor sales team including job site visits.
- Training distribution and contractors to include counter days, lunch & learns, after hours events, tailgates.
- Participate in local industry organization events
- Training track to be provided for personal development and line card proficiency
- Entertainment, including after hours, is expected with the position.
- Excellent communication and analytical/critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment, multitask, and meet deadlines
- Electrical product and industry knowledge required
- Experience in construction sales and contract negotiation preferred
- Clean driving record and the ability to pass a background check
